Yesterday was actually a very productive day. The kids are starting to realize that I’m serious about wanting the house maintained a certain way. I think it is for the best. They are learning how to help, and how to take care of things.
It was nice, after dinner, everyone all got their chores done, and I decided to get my statistics assignment out of the way so I don’t have to worry about it this weekend. A new habit I’m trying to get into. I’m tired (or turd, if you’re Diamondgirl) of giving my weekends to getting my scholastic crap together. But as I was sitting there, one by one all three of them came and just sat at the table doing their own thing. We talked, joked and just had a good time being together.
They are such great kids,
I am a blessed man.
