From Friday till now I have been very busy. We are getting a nice amount back from Uncle Sam this year. I hope he appreciates the fact that I let him keep my money interest free... out of the goodness of my heart... of course.
I wish that in the years I owed he would show me the same courtesy.
Most of the weekend was spent either studying, or working on my kitchen. Saturday I played taxi-driver for the kids. No. 3's new friend appears to have some kind of a home dilemma. There doesn't seem to be any kind of physical abuse, but let's just say that she's not ever in a hurry to get home.
It's a rather sad state of affairs, the parents are recently divorced, and they just moved into the nieghborhood back in September. Cheryl and I never thought much of it until last night. I kept trying to get a hold of her mother to ask her what time she wanted her daughter home. I couldn't get through to anyone... until around 11:00 pm last night... so now she spent the night again.
Maybe it's just me... but if it were No.3, I would have called myself, and about 8 hours earlier.
Things that make you go... hmmmmmm
