For any who still read this thing, I'm ducking out for a while.
Nothing forever, I just need to get back into writing mode again.
Actually, I have a lot I'd like to write about, but I have just not had the time. The real reason is that I'm going on vacation, I'm leaving tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be chocked full of stories when I return April 1st.
Things with me an Cheryl are going really well, surprisingly well. we went out to lunch today, and as usual, we really enjoyed our time together.
I have a cist on my back I need to get removed. I went to the doctor today to get the surgery set up. I guess he also does liposuction.
I found out in a rather strange way; while I was sitting waiting to see him, this lady walks in and starts the conversation,
"Is Gail here?"
"No, can I help you?"
"Well, I wanted to find out how I'd go about getting liposuction done, but first I want to find out how much it costs."
"Okay, you'll, have to talk to the doctor, and he can tell you for sure"
"Well, could you give me a ballpark figure?"
I don't know why... but I wanted to crawl into a hole. I could not believe how uninhibited this woman was. A man sitting no more than 5 ft from her, and she barges in like it is a drive through liposuction clinic, and wants pricing. I was praying she wouldn't see me because I was so close to just busting out laughing. She wasn't even all that heavy!!!
After I saw the doctor, I went and checked out, and the lady at the counter and I started talking about it. She said that it is a daily event, people come in all the time, some even asking if they could get it done that day.
Sounds like a business opportunity! Drive Thru Liposuction... it's the wave of the future... I'm sure...
BTW, for any who are interested, it was about $3100 for abdominal alone.
