So my oldest son turns 15 today. It's amazing how time keeps moving on. The older I get the more I realize how little time we actually have. In fact, tomorrow is no guarantee; its barely a promisary note. I in many ways still feel like I'm 17. Some think I still act that way ;) I've been writing in this thing for over a year now. Diaryland has turned out to be another world in and of itself for me. I've made friends here that I would never have met otherwise. They are all different too. Liberal, conservative, young, and old. This a very diverse place. I have learned a lot from all of you. I've been on a very rocky road for the last year. Many wonder how I handle the pressure I am constantly under. To be honest, I'm not sure myself. So tonight, I contend with 8 15 year old boys and try to study for my physics test. No.2 has a baseball game in the morning. study study study. Augh... Yesterday, I got out of my lab a little early, and was rushing down the highway trying to get No. 2's baseball game, and was stuck behind 2 cars that would not budge past 60 mph. After five miles, the one in the right lane get off and as I pass him, I'm shaking my head, and he just looks over and smiles at me. The SOB. He knew what he was doing. Now I'm starting to understand road rage a little. I need a nap. Later, Rick
