I’m almost finished with The Two Towers. I read it when I was 17, and I had forgotten how awesome of a book it is. I don’t think any movie will every truly give any book justice. The Fellowship of the Ring Was a great movie, but it had been so long since I read it; I really had no idea of how much was actually left out.
For instance; Frodo and Sam did not leave bag end in a hurry, and the left with Pippin after Frodo sold Bag End to some relatives. When Gandalf left the first time, he was gone for close to 30 years.
Tom Bombadil was not even mentioned.
The list goes on and on, but you know what? I still liked the movie.
I love Fantasy type stuff. The video game Zelda you would have a hard time peeling me away from. I wish I had more time to get into that kind of gaming, but unfortunately I have other priorities.
