Part of being a dad for me has always been trying to get into what my kids like. Right now Tom and I are both on a Weezer kick. Their last two albums are excellent. But there are other things that the other two like that require a little more effort, such as The Cartoon Network. I remember that Scooby Doo used to be my most favorite Cartoon. When Scrappy Doo came around, I got a little annoyed. Now; it makes me nauseous.
Okay, I have to admit this, it’s painful to do, but there are two cartoons in particular that I really have taken a liking to: *cringes* Dragonball Z, and Samurai Jack.
Goku Rocks.
While I was at Subway the other day I saw Samurai Jack action figures, so I got one. There he sits, right on top of my computer terminal, waiting to dispense justice to any evil boss who may enter my office.
Yes, I really am 38.
